A Hong Kong high-rise apartment owner wanted to transform their dining and entertainment zone into a space that felt elevated against the city skyline — statement furniture, dramatic lighting, and a functional bar that doubled as a design feature. The apartment's compact footprint required carefully sized pieces that maximised impact without overwhelming the space.
Space constraints in Hong Kong apartments are well known. Every piece had to be dimensioned to allow comfortable circulation while still making a visual statement. The client also wanted a chandelier as the centrepiece — a custom piece that worked with the apartment's existing ceiling height of 2.7m.
We produced a space-specific furniture plan based on exact room dimensions. The dining table was custom-made 10cm narrower than standard to allow comfortable chair pull-out. The chandelier was designed to hang at the correct height with appropriate visual weight for the room. The bar cabinet was built to fit a specific alcove width to the millimetre.
We create custom, dimension-accurate furniture packages for apartments and homes worldwide.
