A recently renovated Sydney CBD penthouse required furniture that worked across a seamless open-plan space — living, dining, kitchen island, and bar — without visual clutter or zone confusion. The client wanted a consistent material palette of walnut, brushed brass, and natural linen throughout.
Open-plan spaces are notoriously difficult to furnish without the space feeling disconnected or overwhelming. Every piece needed to earn its place and contribute to the overall flow. The kitchen island required custom-height seating, and the bar cabinet had to be both functional and a design centrepiece.
We created a zoned furniture plan based on the penthouse floor plan, mapping sight lines and traffic flow before selecting any piece. Island stools were custom-made to the exact bench height with brass footrests. The bar cabinet was a bespoke piece built to fit the alcove. All upholstery was in natural linen, consolidating the palette across zones.
We specialise in coordinated open-plan furniture packages with custom sizing.
